My little baby is growing up. Last night Easton got his very own plate, fork, and spoon.
We I thought it was time that he started using a spoon/fork. And instead of throwing food on his highchair we gave him a plate. He loved it. Even though he had no idea why I was giving this to him he took the fork and started to hold it. Not correctly at first but still had a great grip on the fork. Ah, in 10 short months, my baby can hold his own bottle, drink out of a sippy cup, "walk" with holding onto household items, say dada and somewhat mama, and now he uses a fork. Where has the time gone.
* Dinner was Soy chicken nuggets, peas, peaches, apricots, and water.
*If you put the food on the fork Easton was able to put the fork to his mouth and take the food off

| I think I'm just going to use my hands |
| What does she want me to do with this thing |
| I'm trying but I just don't get it |
| Like this? |
| No matter what, he held the fork in his hand |
| I'm done |
| Mom, I told you I was done. Now I am just going to play with this |
* Choices for boy items are few. I had the choice of Cars, Toy Story, or Mickey Mouse
*We had to start buying bigger bibs for all the messy food he can now eat
