11 months

This post is a little backwards but I just downloaded the monthly pictures of Easton. I have to say getting him to pose with one piece of paper is getting harder and harder every month. You will see what I mean as you look at the pictures.
1st attempt.

Got a quick pose because he is watching Bubble Guppies

Nope, I'm not going to make this easy. I can move

What does this paper say?

Forget this, I'm going to take everything out. Mom won't care she's
trying to get a picture

See, still trying

Not a chance mom

I'll take the paper and hide my face
His pants are off because this may look like a 4 minute attempt, it surely was NOT. This was more like a 20 minute attempt. I was going to change him into pjs and take his picture, but as soon as I got his pants off I could tell it wasnt going to happen.

Another First

The wheather man lied. He said that it was going to rain and it did not. Well, it did but not until 7:30 pm. After waiting half the day to see about rain I decided to take Easton out to the park. This was his FIRST time going to a park. We went to Camera Park, in Glendale Heights. He had so much fun. First we  he went on the swings.I never seen a kid smile and laugh soooo much. He absoultly could of stayed in there for the whole day. but after 10 mins I let him play on the slides and other fun things there. It was so fun being able to see him crawl around and "interact" with other children. He even made a friend. This little boy probably around 5 came up to me and said " I like your baby" I told him thanks, you can play with him. And of course that little boy did. You will see him in one of the pictures. He tried getting in more pictures but I just pretended to take pictures of him.(Really I was taking them of Easton).

Playing a little tic-tac-toe

Done with that, on to the next thing

Going down the slide like a big boy

Easton's new friend

Mom, really? I have friends here

The "little" kids park.

The "big" kids park.

One of the MANY paths you can take
We did go for a short walk around the park and ended up playing at the park for a short time.

Utensils

My little baby is growing up. Last night Easton got his very own plate, fork, and spoon. We  I thought it was time that he started using a spoon/fork. And instead of throwing food on his highchair we gave him a plate. He loved it. Even though he had no idea why I was giving this to him he took the fork and started to hold it. Not correctly at first but still had a great grip on the fork. Ah, in 10 short months, my baby can hold his own bottle, drink out of a sippy cup, "walk" with holding onto household items, say dada and somewhat mama, and now he uses a fork. Where has the time gone.
* Dinner was Soy chicken nuggets, peas, peaches, apricots, and water.
*If you put the food on the fork Easton was able to put the fork to his mouth and take the food off
I think I'm just going to use my hands

What does she want me to do with this thing

I'm trying but I just don't get it

Like this?

No matter what, he held the fork in his hand

I'm done

Mom, I told you I was done. Now I am just going to play with this

* Choices for boy items are few. I had the choice of Cars, Toy Story, or Mickey Mouse
*We had to start buying bigger bibs for all the messy food he can now eat

It's been awhile

Have no fear, I'm back. It's been so long since I blogged that I forgot my password. But so much stuff has happened since the last time I blogged but I am so tired to talk about it all. But I will tell you that over Labor day weekend, we found out that my sister in law and brother in law, are expecting....TWINS. So I will get to be a real aunt, James will be an uncle, and Easton will be a big cousin. I hope that Easton will be able to share all the things I did with my cousins. My cousins are like brothers and sisters. Every Sunday we would(and still do) get together. We would go to church, then to breakfast, then have dinner together. We did everything together. I hope he has the same opportunities as me.
I will tell you more about everything tomorrow but I leave you with pictures of who other than Easton.
